Serviam. This is war.
I do not make agreements with the enemy. I do not surrender. I will not bow. I will not quit. This is war — and I am a servant of the Most High God.
Psalm 143 (A Prayer for Deliverance and Victory)
Hear my prayer, O Lord. Give ear to my supplications; In Your faithfulness answer me in Your righteousness. Do not enter into judgment with Your servant, For no one living is righteous before You.
For the enemy has pursued me; He has crushed my life to the ground; He has made me dwell in darkness, Like those who have long been dead. Therefore my spirit is overwhelmed within me; My heart within me is distressed.
I remember the days of old; I meditate on all Your works; I muse on the work of Your hands. I spread out my hands to You; My soul longs for You like a thirsty land.
Answer me quickly, O Lord; My spirit fails! Do not hide Your face from me, Lest I be like those who go down into the pit. Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning, For in You do I trust; Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, For I lift up my soul to You.
Deliver me, O Lord, from my enemies; In You I take shelter. Teach me to do Your will, For You are my God; Your Spirit is good. Lead me in the land of uprightness.
Revive me, O Lord, for Your name’s sake! For Your righteousness’ sake bring my soul out of trouble. In Your mercy cut off my enemies, And destroy all those who afflict my soul; For I am Your servant.
My War Cry
Serviam. God, I will serve You. I follow You and I love You with everything in me.
Open me up to Your wisdom. Open me up to Your insight. Open me up to Your heart.
Give me the strength. Give me the courage. Help me put on the full armor of God — the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word.
Lord, this is war. But I am not fighting in my own strength. I am fighting in Yours.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I pray this. Amen.
Brothers, this is your prayer too.
When the enemy is pressing in, when the darkness feels heavy, when your spirit is faint — don’t negotiate. Don’t agree with the lies. Don’t surrender.
Stand up. Put on the armor. Pray the Word. And declare with me: Serviam.
If this prayer lit a fire in you, share it with every brother who’s in the fight. Drop a comment below and tell me what battle you’re bringing before the Lord right now — I’m praying with you.

We don’t fight alone. We don’t fight in our own strength. We fight as servants of the King who has already won.
Serviam. God bless you, warrior. Now go put on the armor and take the ground.
